Latest travel advice on the Coronavirus

The Corona virus has been a concern during the month of February around the world. Here is the latest information and London Magical Tours’ advice on the matter:

Currently (as of the 3rd of March 2020) the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) have only warned against travel to mainland China, parts of South Korea and a few towns in northern Italy.

We are pleased to confirm that all London Magical Tours’ visit to London are running as normal. The key piece of advice if you are booking a holiday or trip abroad is to get travel insurance for peace of mind. If you have already booked a trip abroad, you can still get travel insurance. Depending on the insurance purchased, this is likely to protect you if the Government later warns against travel to your destination.

Professor Cosford of Imperial College London added that it is important to put the Corona virus into perspective:

“The vast majority of people will make a recovery from Covid 19 and it is a relatively mild infection” he said. “Children and otherwise healthy adults are at a much lower risk of getting into serious complications.”

We would like to take the opportunity to wish good health to all our visitors and readers, as well as re-assure anyone who is having doubts about travelling.
